Louis XV (1715-1774), louis d'or aux écus ovales, 1735, struck at Riom.

Obverse: youthful draped bust of the king left, with long curly hair. Reverse: two conjoined crowned oval shields, one of France bearing three fleurs-de-lis, the other of Navarre. Mint letter O (Riom) below the shields.

Minute contact marks on the obverse. Close to as-struck condition. A much sought-after coin from the Riom mint. Mint State.
