Obverse: crowned shield of France bearing three fleurs-de-lis, flanked by the denomination II - II (for 1/4 écu), legend HENRICVS III D G FR ET POL REX. Reverse: foliate cross fleurdelisée, date 1587 in the legend, motto SIT NOMEN DOMINI BENEDICTVM. Mint letter G (Poitiers).
