Parisii, gold stater, class II (60-40 BC).
Obverse: stylised head right, the hair rendered in large sinuous locks and volutes characteristic of the Parisii artistic school. Reverse: horse leaping left, surrounded by ornamental motifs, including a rosette in exergue.
Broad planchet, centred strike, sharp relief, original golden patina. Extremely Fine. A highly prestigious example.
