Louis XV (1715-1774), louis d'or au bandeau 1753 struck at Paris.
Obverse: bare head of the king left, bound with a headband, engraved by Duvivier. Reverse: two conjoined crowned oval shields, one of France bearing three fleurs-de-lis, the other of Navarre.
Bold strike, sharp relief, attractive golden highlights over the original mint lustre. Mint State.
